Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 22, 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owners. Cookies may be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (remain until they expire or are deleted).

2. How we use cookies

AffiliPilot uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies (essential)

These cookies are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as signing in or setting your preferences.

2.2 Analytics cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with the Service. GA4 uses cookies to collect anonymized information about page visits, time on site, and navigation paths. This helps us improve the Service.

We also use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that doesnot use cookies and does not collect personal data. Plausible data is aggregated and anonymized by design.

3. Third-party cookies

Third-party services integrated into AffiliPilot may set their own cookies:

  • Google OAuth: If you sign in with Google, Google sets authentication cookies per their privacy policy. These are not controlled by AffiliPilot.
  • Lemon Squeezy: Our payment processor may set cookies for fraud prevention and checkout functionality.
  • Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may set a cookie for caching and load balancing.

4. Your choices

4.1 Cookie consent banner

On your first visit, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Analytics cookies (GA4) are only set if you opt in via the banner. You can change your preference at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the site footer.

4.2 Browser controls

Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically:

  • View and delete cookies stored on your device
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Block all cookies from specific sites
  • Set “Do Not Track” preferences

Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using core features of the Service.

4.3 Opting out of Google Analytics

Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all websites: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Legal basis

Under the GDPR and UK Data Protection Act:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: set based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional Service.
  • Analytics and preference cookies: set only with your explicit consent, obtained via the cookie banner.

You may withdraw consent at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our use of cookies or applicable regulations. The “Last updated” date indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the cookie banner or email.
